Flexible Respite Care Services
At Disability Dr. we provide a premium, flexible respite care service as covered by the NDIS. Our respite and short-term accommodation service includes:
- Flexible short-term accommodation (STA)/respite in modern, furnished homes in Perth
- Tailored care specific to your patient’s particular requirements
- Shared or independent living, depending on your preferences
- Nurses and carers to take care of medical and personal needs, cooking, cleaning, and more
- Activities you and the provider agree to
- Free pickup from home and dropoff at the respite home
NDIS-Supported Short Term Accommodation
As a registered NDIS short-term accommodation provider, our services are covered by the NDIS with out-of-pocket expenses dependent on your patient’s level of coverage, usually up to 28 days per year. You can use your short-term accommodation funding flexibly – for example, you might want to use it in a block of up to 14 days at a time or for one weekend a month.
This means you only pay for the minimum respite care costs, and care is tailored to your patient depending on their NDIS support.
Long-Term NDIS Accommodation
For patients looking to move into Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation, we can help. We have SIL properties located across the metropolitan area. Our friendly team can help you organise SIL accommodation for your loved one, including securing your NDIS funding.
